Calm Winds
You know that feeling when its been hot all day in the summer, a warm breeze has been blowing, and then at one point it all stops. The air becomes still and thick, a rumble grows in the distance from no cloud in particular, just out in the haze.
That is the type of day that was spent wandering up to crater lake on Hudson Bay Mountain in Smithers BC that I was inspired to paint.
